Paradise Soho has been designed by Dan Preston Studio to reflect the tropical brutalist architecture of Sri Lanka.

The firm designed the restaurant to resemble the exterior of a modernist building through the use of concrete banquette seating, bespoke micro-cement walls and handmade clay tiles.

The studio used light and shadow to highlight these features, and considerable planting and greenery was used to soften elements and create contrast.

This project has been longlisted in the restaurant interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
