Longlisted for emerging designer of the year at Dezeen Awards 2020, Poppy Lawman Studio is a newly-established design firm based in Oslo, Norway.

Lawman's design practice focuses on slow furniture and objects, delving into transparent process, site-relational work, circular economy, form and material exploration, and emotional design.

Creating slow designs and objects, with the goal of personal and environmental wellbeing, connecting one to their surroundings, encouraging positive consumer behaviour, a sustainable lifestyle, and promoting living in the moment.

In 2019 Lawman received The Years Newcomer prize from the Bo Bedre Design Prizes and in 2020 was chosen to participate in Norwegian Presence' international exhibition for Milan Design Fair, Innovation in Process.

Poppy Lawman Studio has been longlisted in the emerging designer of the year category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
