Puzzle Table is a material-saving and flat-packed table made of birch plywood, designed by Huachen Xin for Side.

Based on the needs of the structure, the CNC machine precisely mills different shapes on the plywood board. These shapes are constrained and locked to each other to support the desktop.

This structure makes the table look slim and elegant but stable. The whole table can be cut from a standard 2440mm x 1220mm plywood board.

This project has been longlisted in the furniture design project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
