Quant-U is a customisation service that tailors the comfort, fit and performance of each shoe to individual's biomechanical data and preferences.

3D scanning provides a digital copy of the feet, while wearable sensors predict the natural walking pattern. This data is used to develop your unique midsole design, ready to be 3D-printed in-store or at one of the company's printing depots globally.

Quant-U has evolved into an omnichannel experience by leveraging mobile scanning. The future of connected shoes will capture real-world biomechanics to customise specific to the individual, their environment and activity.

This project has been longlisted in the wearable design project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
