Silver Lyan is a a subterranean cocktail bar that blends classical and kitsch styles in Washington DC.

Designed by creative director Jacu Strauss of Lore Group, the concept reimagines the traditional hotel bar, delivering something new and disruptive to the current DC landscape.

The brand's very first US venture, Silver Lyan, focuses on the history of cultural exchange in America, bringing elevated irreverence to the grand space to pay tribute to the past, present and future of the storied building.

This project has been longlisted in the bar interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
