Design studio Kinzo has created a new workspace for German publishing house Suhrkamp in Berlin.

Suhrkamp was in need for a spatial concept that would reflect its identity. The project called for a tailor-made solution that would be simple, elegant and would house their 135 employees and thousands of books.

Kinzo's approach found a way to integrate all the employees and books within a heterogenous floor plan. The clear and neutral material palette balances an environment of tranquility, comfort, cross communication, concentration and collaboration.

This project has been longlisted in the large workspace interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
