Tanzhaus is a civic building that acts as a new public space in Zürich, designed to reactivate the promenade along the river.

The building aims to transform and redefine the previous fragmented condition of the location.

The relationship with the surroundings takes place through the definition of the main facade, which uniformly opens up to the promenade along the river, connecting the outdoor area to the foyer, extending and enriching the new public space.

This project has been longlisted in the civic building category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
