Designed by Masaya Ogiyama, Tatiisu is a chair without a seat surface that enables users to lean rather than sit down.
Tatiisu means "standing chair" in Japanese.
Having an extremely simple wooden and metal structure, Tatiisu allows you to support your own body weight by standing on the base plate, where the backrest and vertical supports are connected.
This project has been longlisted in the workplace design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
