Aizawa Office has designed a calendar that celebrates the 30th anniversary of Yokohama Museum of Art using monotone and minimalist typography.
This calendar is designed based on the collections of Yokohama Museum of Art, including the works of Pablo Picasso and Isamu Noguchi, considering that a museum as a symbol of art and culture.
The simple composition expressed in monotone typography creates a minimalistic world that is compatible with the art museums while symbolising the artworks. By changing the cutting positions, the shape that allows you to list the artists' names also functions as a catalogue.
This project has been longlisted in the graphic design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
