The Art and Science of LifeWear: New Form Follows Function is an immersive experiential event designed by Pentagram.
The exhibition starts with an animation telling the story of UNIQLO, leading to a large-scale installation of LifeWear clothing hanging in front of a video wall.
An art installation of AIRism fabric precedes demonstrations of the science inside LifeWear, a HEATTECH digital installation, tactile sustainability displays and graphic UT T-shirts.
Open-tent structures explain the craftsmanship of LifeWear. A showcase of stylings leads to a mirrored room with hanging lamps made from UNIQLO socks.
This project has been longlisted in the exhibition design project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
