LOM Architecture and Design has created a new co-working space at the heart of a major financial institution's London headquarters.
The project was designed to kick-start a more agile working culture by creating a flexible work landscape, where mobile and home-working staff can touch down, meet and work without needing to occupy fixed desks.
The space fills a whole floor, with three workspace zones of dawn, day and dusk, reflecting the movement of the sun through the day. The space is wrapped around a shared atrium garden and cafe, which creates a new heart for the building.
This project has been longlisted in the large workspace interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
