Designed by Plasma Studio, The Walkable Summit Book comprises a climbable and traversable installation.

To celebrate 150 years of alpinism in the Dolomites of Sesto, the installation was created, which uses written descriptions of the first climbs in the Sesto's peaks, as collected in the summit books. In this way, these moments become part of the collective memory of the community.

After summer 2019, the installation dissolved into its basic modules of local pine and steel cubes, which will be recombined as benches and placed throughout the territory. This allows the installation to continue to be present in the daily life of the community to a create new collective memory.

This project has been longlisted in the installation design project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
