FAR has designed a six-storey residential complex that combines living and working spaces in Berlin, Germany.

The complex is made from precast concrete, which is common in industrial warehouse construction and bridges.

A curtain-wall of large-scale sliding glass doors has been used for the east and west facade, which allows the interiors to be opened up during the summer, turning living spaces into loggias.

This project has been longlisted in the housing project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
