Gad Line+ Studio has designed a production factory nestled between natural river scenery and a traditional rural landscape.

The factory is adjacent to Qiantang River in Shuangyashan.

The design attempts to respond to the impact of the contemporary industrial civilisation on traditional agricultural environments with a local narrative context. This is done through the integration of new technologies, such as solar photovoltaic conversion.

This project has been longlisted in the business building category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
