Public vote winner for large retail interior of the year: The Webster is a curved, pink-tinted concrete building designed for luxury retailer The Webster's flagship store in Los Angeles.
The Webster is a new 11,000 square-foot retail development adjacent to the Los Angeles Beverly Center.
The development establishes a new public space, featuring a digital art wall that will debut bespoke site-specific multimedia works.
Conceived as a landscape of forms, the colour and material palette of The Webster's exterior identity continue into the interior.
Oscillating between varying textures, the interior is akin to a sculptural field punctuated by cast-in place concrete columns and teardrop shaped display plinths, creating a series of vignettes for the merchandise.
