Shortlisted for small workspace interior of the year at Dezeen Awards 2020, Grain Loft Studio is a nineteenth-century agricultural barn that has been transformed into an adaptable space for Richard Parr Associates' own Cotswold studio.

As an addition to its London studio, it is something of a luxury for the team at Richard Parr Associates to design its own bespoke workplace in the country.

Combining sensitive restoration with a range of modern interventions, the team has maximised the spaces and surrounding views.

Just as importantly, the palette of materials; Douglas fir, Cotswold stone, recycled rubber flooring and mid-century furniture, creates a welcoming setting where clients and the team can meet and work in comfort.
