Shortlisted for seating design of the year at Dezeen Awards 2020, British designers Barber & Osgerby have created a chair for Emeco that can be endlessly recycled.

Barber Osgerby were tasked with the creation of a next generation cafe chair that is simple, timeless and sustainable.

The result is a chair that feels moderns but references the iconic bentwood cafe chairs of the 1930s, and pushes forward current understanding of what sustainable design should mean.
