Shortlisted for installation design of the year at Dezeen Awards 2020, the Pollution Ranger and Smog Shade installation allows people to access air-quality data and visualise this data in public spaces.

Since 2008, air pollution has become a major issue in China and poses a threat to Chinese public health. The only air-quality data that people can access is government-published data, and the authenticity of it is doubtable. The studio has created an alternative way for the public to access information about the environment.
