Shortlisted for housing project of the year at Dezeen Awards 2020, Wohnregal is a six-storey residential complex that combines living and working spaces in Berlin, Germany.

The complex is made from precast concrete, which is common in industrial warehouse construction and bridges.

A curtain-wall of large-scale sliding glass doors has been used for the east and west facade, which allows the interiors to be opened up during the summer, turning living spaces into loggias.
