Ben Allen, founder of Studio Ben Allen, has grown a reputation for creating unique and engaging spaces that exist at the convergence of architecture, art and design.
Allen has a talent for achieving striking results with the simplest of materials.
Vault House was recognised by Dezeen as one of the UK’s top ten architecture projects of 2018. Other projects include Holistic Office, A Room in the Garden and Room for One More.
Prior to founding his studio, Allen collaborated with Olafur Eliason for almost a decade on projects including Your Rainbow Panorama, the 2007 Serpentine Pavilion and Harpa, the Icelandic National Concert Hall.
The studio participated in the Folkestone Triennial 2017, and in 2018 was listed in Dezeen’s top 20 emerging architects across the globe. Their workplace design for Cundall received the first European Well certification.
