Mario Tsai
Mario Tsai founded his Hangzhou-based design studio in 2014, with the core aim of exploring new production methods whilst adhering to sustainable design principles.
Mario Tsai Studio provides creative solutions for clients across the realms of product design and art installation design and provides consulting services for strategy and art direction. Tsai runs the eponymous brand MARIO TSAI simultaneously.
The brand explores the diverse possibilities of the future, and is currently focusing on systematic modular lamps and pioneering objects.
Tsai hosted his first solo exhibition “From the Structures” in Tortona during Milan Design Week 2019. His biggest solo exhibition was Poetic Light in Hangzhou and Shanghai in 2020.
