Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto
Welsh designer Mark Eley and Japanese designer Wakako Kishimoto are founders of London-based print studio Eley Kishimoto.
Established in 1992, Eley Kishimoto initially gained recognition as a result of their vibrant fashion collections. Now the company's projects range from fashion and interiors to diverse architectural and design collaborations.
Following the motto "print the world", Eley Kishimoto's work is strongly rooted in craft traditions, choosing to screen print their products in-house by hand.
Having previously produced bespoke and commercial furniture, furnishings and homeware alongside their seasonal fashion collections, Eley and Kishimoto consider their projects a continuous evolving design concept and exploration of surface decoration.
