Olafur Eliasson and Sebastian Behmann
Olafur Eliasson and Sebastian Behmann are founding partners of Berlin-based interdisciplinary and experimental design office Studio Other Spaces.
Studio Other Spaces' recent projects include the design of Restaurant Lyst in Vejle, a contribution to the reinvention of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York, a permanent art piece for the Morland Mixité Capitale building in Paris, and the Meles Zenawi Memorial Park in Addis Ababa.
Artist Eliasson and architect Behmann have been working together for over 20 years; Eliasson running Studio Olafur Eliasson with Behmann as head of design. In 2014, after collaborating on projects such as Fjordenhus in Vejle, Denmark, Harpa Concert and Conference Centre in Reykjavik and Your Rainbow Panorama for ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum, they founded Studio Other Spaces.
The studio is a platform where the disciplines of architecture and art can enrich one another as equal partners.
