Ole Scheeren
Ole Scheeren is a German-born architect. Principal and chief designer of Büro Ole Scheeren, his landmark projects shape the way we interact with our cities and generate new social narratives in highly integrative environments.
Scheeren steers the company’s creative vision and strategic development, picking up numerous awards along the way. These include the CTBUH Urban Habitat Award 2020 for DUO in Singapore, the World Building of the Year 2015 and the CTBUH Urban Habitat Award 2014 for The Interlace in Singapore, as well as the global CTBUH Best Tall Building Award 2013 for the CCTV Headquarters in Beijing.
For twenty years Sheeren’s architecture has been committed to grounding the idealism of visionary, transformative solutions through delivering pragmatic, successful, real-world projects.
Recently completed projects span hybrid arts spaces to high rise and large scale developments. These include the Guardian Art Center in Beijing; an arts space auction house, MahaNakhon Tower in Bangkok; an unconventional skyscraper and emblem of the city’s rising status, and DUO; a new civic nexus for Singapore.
