For more than 100 years, this space was known as the traditional restaurant of the house.
As an homage to the architectural zeitgeist of old Charlottenburg, the wood-panelled room was transported into modernity by a curved oak lamella wall. The quilting of the chaise longue ‘Taramon’ in pistachio green is repeated in a bench on floor level to indicate barrier-free access. In the lounge, the sofa ‘Lucablu’ in rich light blue contains all materials of Taramon in its individually shaped way. The collection of additional furniture and accessories complements the visual language.
This project has been longlisted in the large retail interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
