Some old stables in the countryside in Benidorm have become the refuge for a photographer and his animals.
In just 44 m2, a small wooden house has been created with a kitchen, dining room, living and working area, bedroom, bathroom and gallery to display photographs.
On this volume stands out a piece that marks the concept of rehabilitation: a kind of “synthetic tree”. It is the roof that precedes the house, protects it, provides shade and recreates a small forest based on columns that brings together all the spaces.
This project has been longlisted in the small building category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
