Schemata renovated the flagship store of LIM, a hair salon in Osaka.

The name LIM comes from "Less Is More". Schemata were asked to create a "Less Is More" beauty salon with a low budget.

The idea was to maximise the minimum necessary. In order to keep the cost low, the base for the shelves and other structures was made of a readymade steel rack and the space was composed by modifying it and changing the finish. The mirrors, which are indispensable in a beauty salon, were made as large as possible and made movable.

This project has been longlisted in the leisure and wellness interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
