East London rug company FLOOR_STORY, collaborated with Designer Adam Nathaniel Furman on a series of 13 rugs.
Adam worked with head designer, Gill Thorpe, choosing constructions and yarn from over 1,500 colours, reflecting exquisite pigments captured under bright, Mediterranean sun.

Adam says that his collection is designed to be ‘landscapes of pleasure’ and was intrigued by the way soft floor finishes have been a constant throughout almost all of human history. He believes they are both a form of self-expression whilst also turning floors that can otherwise just be forgotten parts of our homes, into places to relax and dwell.

This project has been longlisted in the homeware design category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
