MO de Movimiento is a compendium of experiments on how to create a leisure space that has a small impact on the environment and a positive one on its social and cultural context.
Highlights are the work developed with foundations, the up-cycling of 1700kg of construction rubble, the use of junkyard re-claimed materials, its self-generated energy circuit, the space cooling using terracotta adiabatic inventions and the effort to use as much material as possible from the construction site itself. All design decisions are the result of several interconnected analyses of material suppliers' information and a thorough understanding of decisions' impact.
This project has been longlisted in the sustainable interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
