White Arkitekter makes every floor in Nodi grow larger with the height of the building.
Nodi, located in Nya Hovås, Sweden, has four floors of office space, on top of an entrance floor for shops and city life. Nodi is the hub of the area, surrounded by a mixed city of homes, shops and restaurants.
The tradition of building in wood is currently experiencing a renaissance, and with adapted regulations, research and experience, it is possible to create modern wooden buildings that meet contemporary needs. The advantages of wood are not only a low climate footprint, the bold design of Nodi proves it is very much an aesthetic choice.
This project has been longlisted in the business building category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
