Translating a still life image into reality. The first store design for Odict, a perfume brand located in Kuwait City, was inspired by a still life image and the 80’s.
While maintaining a minimal aesthetic, the design is thoroughly focused on repetition in materiality, technicality and bespoke details, from the effortlessly floating glass blocks to the custom fitted lights designed specifically for Odict. The space keeps the passers-by intrigued as it plays with light and motion, offering a different experience and mood from day-time to night-time.
This project has been longlisted in the small retail interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
