Collective Practice has designed the Pa-Shih Concept Store, which features a long undulating bar table that meanders through the store.

The design idea is based on the Chinese idiom "Hills need not be high; presence of gods gains them fame" as a reflection of the brand's history and core value.

The design turns the brand's symbol of "mountain" and "creek" into physical space. The long and undulating bar table allows the visitors to drift along and be presented with the brand’s merchandise, products and story.

The bar's form and its textured surface draw its association with the nature, and to symbolise the cultural heritage and innovation of the brand.

This project has been longlisted in the small retail interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
