Situated in Washington DC, Silver Lyan is the first stateside bar from peerless mixologist Ryan Chetiyawardana: Mr Lyan.

The brief was to create an identity that expressed the vision for the bar: "celebrating the notion of exchange and the ever-shifting culture of DC". The vision was inspired by DC's incredible depth of culture, food, drink, people and history.

Chetiyawardana likes his menus to be a talking point - often innovative and unexpected. He sees this as an opportunity to further engage with customers and augment their experience.

This project has been longlisted in the graphic design category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
