Terracotta House is a communal-living family compound akin to a village square, with the owner and her son’s family living individually, on one block.

Between the newly renovated cottage at the front and Terracotta House at the back, with access to the rear laneway, is a productive common garden and a shared library pavilion.

With the subtle mix of shared and private spaces, this is a multi-generational home like no other.

This project has been longlisted in the residential rebirth project category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
