The National Police Directorate & The National Criminal Investigation Service Of Norway put the design of new security documents out to tender in 2014.

The purpose was to develop a concept and a functional design that could increase the overall security with a widely recognizable theme.

To create a sense of belonging and pride across age, gender and regions in Norway it was important to look at the historical foundation and culture that creates a sense of belonging and pride.

After almost 6 years in the making – Neue Design Studio can finally present the finalized new Norwegian passports.

This project has been longlisted in the graphic design category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
