Conceived in the romantic sensibility of a Danish grand residence, Universal oriented its approach to the guest rooms at Villa Copenhagen around the original character and beauty of the building.
Inspired by the building's original Neo-baroque style dating back to 1912, the context of the local architecture, and artworks of Danish master Vilhelm Hammershøi, Universal has designed 381 rooms across the hotel's five floors.
This project has been longlisted in the hotel and short-stay interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
