Spacon & X have collaborated with Frankfurt-based furniture brand e15 to unveil a range of custom-made furniture

The range was initially designed for their POPL restaurant project for Noma.

Crafted of brown-core ash, the bespoke collection comprises the Gamar chair and Gamar stool, alongside various tables and a valet stand.

Through humble burgers, from Noma’s Nordic fine-dining hands, and Japanese izakaya influences creating the POPL identity, the Gamar designs are identity-borne creations. The chair and stool designs, therefore, take cues from Nordic and Japanese furniture-making traditions, along with influences from shaker furniture in its simple functionality.

This project has been shortlisted in the seating design category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
