Highly commended: Small workspace interior of the year 2021. Thomas Randall-Page has designed an artist's studio housed within a barn in Devon for his father, the sculptor and Royal Academician Peter Randall-Page.

Through a series of shutters and apertures, light is controlled and interior and exterior selectively blended. The space acts as both a studio and archive for his father's work. The existing envelope has been updated to include sliding doors and a folding balcony.
