Moran Munyuthe
Moran Munyuthe is an architect, furniture designer and founder of design lab and light manufacturer Saba Studios.
Munyuthe works with local craftsmen to fabricate vernacular inspired furniture that focuses on manufacturing processes that are sensitive to the preservation of inter-generational crafts. His has gained global recognition with features in Elle Decor, Vogue and the BBC and exhibited in both global and pan-African design fairs.
Munyuthe is also interested in architecture as a social and cultural manifestation, whilst his work focuses on the use of multiple programmes and ranges from hospitality, residential to cultural sites.
