Nifemi Marcus-Bello
Nifemi Marcus-Bello is a Nigerian designer known for his community-led and ethnographic conscious design approach. As a designer, Marcus-Bello's strength lies in the exploitation of materials and his fearlessness to pursue new forms and typologies to create unique products and experiences.
In 2021, he was awarded the Life Enhancer of the Year Award by Wallpaper* Magazine and named as part of the Dazed100 2021 list curated by Converse. He was also shortlisted by Hans Ulrich Obrist for the Hublot Design Prize in 2021.
His furniture design has been on show in various exhibitions in London, Venice, Milan. His most recent work will be on exhibit in the 12th International Design Biennale Saint-Étienne, Paris, France.
