Inon Ben David has created a family home in Israel that addresses the needs of both residents and surroundings in equal measure.
Located in a village in the Golan Heights, the house is visually simple – designed with a modest front, to the rear large windows face the surrounding fields and main garden in a manner that draws the views into the living space.
The project focuses on the authenticity of materials and holds a strategic approach to environmental planning, creating a modest Nordic-style property with an ecological wood facade that contributes to the overall effect.
As a cosy home that connects the family to nature, it uses as many natural materials as possible alongside a soft colour palette that complements the view and allow it to be the main focus.
This project has been longlisted in the house interior category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
