A collaboration between Leucos and designer Patrick Jouin iD has created a simple and elegant design to withstand the test of time.

The Aurelia harnesses Leucos's expertise in cutting-edge LED lighting technology with Patrick Jouin iD's spun metal and hand-blown glass design.

The simple pendant silhouette sees a large Murano glass bubble in transparent or smoke grey, combined with a metal structure in hand finished vintage brass, matte gunmetal or glossy warm white. The design is available in two shapes in two dimensions, and in six colour combinations with matching canopy.

Dual, user replaceable LED light sources can be controlled independently, creating soft direct light as well as surprisingly unexpected reflections of indirect light.

This project has been longlisted in the lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
