Barber Osgerby has designed Axor One – Taps, Showers and Accessories in London, United Kingdom.

This project continues the thinking behind the Axor One shower control unit. With its emphasis on functional exactness, visual refinement and ecological design, the Axor One collection comprises more than 30 products, encompassing basin taps, bathtub mixers and shower items.

Working closely with expert engineers in the Black Forest, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby have created an elegant collection that has invented new interactions for greater clarity, enhanced function and superior control. It follows Axor One's principles of precision, ecology and timeless design. The full range is unified by a holistic design language of slender silhouettes, flat surfaces, soft corners and balanced proportions.

The character of this extensive family of pieces is shaped by a consistent formal language and the idea of offering interactions that feel natural, intuitive and precise, evoking powerful memories of water.

This project has been longlisted in the homeware design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
