Banne has created a design that sees plastic waste transformed into an elegant and playful in- and outdoor seating solution.

Bloom Outdoor Lounge Chair is a 100% circular design, created with Ecopixel material, acknowledged by the Ellen McArthur Foundation, that can be used multiple times.

The black models are made of 95-100% recycled waste from the car industry, while the white contain a minimum 50% post-consumer and 20% post-industrial waste.

The design incorporates a concealed rain water drain to ensure a dry seat when used outdoors. The chair can also be filled with sand to weight the seat and make it stormproof.

This project has been longlisted in the seating design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
