NJ+ Arquitetos has designed Casa Olaria NJ+ in São Paulo, Brazil.

This project is a residence designed for CASACOR SP 2021, one of the largest annual architecture and interior design showcases in the Americas.

The premise of Casa Olaria NJ+'s was to honour Brazilian ceramics, highlighting the heritage of the country's ancient potteries and the importance of artisanal work in architecture.

"In the context of the world post-COVID-19 pandemic, we chose to emphasise the importance of moments of introspection and seclusion," said designers NJ+ Arquitetos, who, in addition, wanted to create "welcoming spaces and sensations, prioritising a minimalist and comfortable aesthetic through the use of natural materials, neutral colours and organic shapes, reinforcing a welcoming feeling of cosiness and well being."

This project has been longlisted in the apartment interior category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
