Tableau and Ari Prasetya has designed Connie-Connie at the Copenhagen Contemporary in Copenhagen, Denmark.

This project highlights spatial design for a new cafe at the Copenhagen Contemporary by the multidisciplinary studio Tableau, in collaboration with Australian artist Ari Prasetya.

In December 2021, the new cafe, Connie-Connie, opened at the Copenhagen Contemporary. Tableau curated 25 different artists, architects and designers, who all produced their own unique chairs and benches for the place – while the studio designed the squared green cafe tables itself and decided on the overall surroundings.

Ari Prasetya designed and manufactured the big green bar, as well as the table by the window, a black table and three unique chairs. All pieces were created out of Dinesen wood off-cuts.

This project has been longlisted in the restaurant and bar interiors category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
