Warren and Mahoney Architects has designed Dexus Place 80 Collins in Melbourne, Australia.

This project is a co-working, private suite and event space located in the North Tower of 80 Collins in Melbourne.

"Our creative strategy, the 'Alter Ego', grounded the project with a unique proposition which drives a highly experiential workspace, celebrating uniqueness, difference, and extremes that invites all users and members to enjoy," said Warren and Mahoney Architects.

The project team embraced the unapologetically urban existing building condition and constraints. The design takes an honest approach to retain existing elements, achieving sustainability initiatives and cost value for the client, and embracing the unique character of the space.

To address the limited natural light, stairs were introduced between the three storeys which amplify natural light over the volume. The stairs enable members to traverse from their suites on L5 and L7 through the community facilities on L6 which include social spaces, large seminar rooms, boardrooms, and general hosted experiences.

This project has been longlisted in the large workspace interiors category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
