David Rowe has created a design for Hille in the form of an elegant new recyclable all-plastic chair.

ErgoStak is an elegant new recyclable all-plastic chair for schools and colleges that has advanced postural qualities.

It was designed in response to ample evidence suggesting a strong link between good postural support and student performance.

The chair is comfortable and fully supportive of its occupant with a surface texture that helps to ventilate its seating surface. It stacks superbly, is both very strong and easy to handle and provides a top-edge profile on which school bags can be usefully hung.

This project has been longlisted in the seating design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
