CuldeSac has created an applicator for solid bar cosmetics that meets the needs of both the planet and its people.

F SolidPod is a portable and refillable applicator designed to challenge and re-purpose the typical experience of using solid bar cosmetics through an ergonomic and elegant shape that is also respectful to the environment.

Its simple but functional design solution allows easy grip, while the rising tray insert helps prevent excess water and extends the product life cycle as well as addressing hygiene concerns by stopping bacteria growth.

It was developed as an alternative answer to the excess of single-use packaging in the cosmetics industry, and is made from recycled materials with an estimated durability of more than 10 years.

This project has been longlisted in the sustainable design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
