MoreySmith has designed the Generator Building in Bristol, United Kingdom.

This project is the redesign of the Generator Building's interior, which has a rich history in Bristol, powering the city's tram system in the early 20th century.

MoreySmith was commissioned to develop a flexible workspace for serviced office provider Clockwise to breathe new life into this Grade II-listed building, by reimagining a space fit for creative start-ups and entrepreneurs throughout the southwest.

The outcome is a beautiful, design-led space that celebrates the history of the building, with original features and structures paired seamlessly with contemporary furnishings and working setups.

As a result, the Generator Building now has a new chapter in its long-standing story.

This project has been longlisted in the large workspace interiors category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
